Description
* We have received reports that the bulk carrier YASA TOKYO (IMO: 9948255) ran aground while departing from the port of San Pedro, Argentina, on 23 May 2025.
* It is reported that the vessel was later refloated with tug assistance and returned to San Pedro port, for inspection, and possibly, repairs, where the vessel currently remains.
* It is possible that General Average may arise as a result of this casualty.
