Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier ALGOMA VERITY (IMO:9183776), ran aground off Petty’s Island whilst navigating the Delaware River, USA on 08 January 2025.
* It is reported that two tugs are currently in attendance to assist to refloat the vessel.
* It is therefore possible that General Average/Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests
