Description
* We have received reports that container ship, AMNAH (IMO: 9126259) developed a list, sustained water ingress and subsequently partially capsized during cargo operations at Marport Container Terminal, Ambarli port, Turkey on 23 December 2024.
* It is reported that a number of containers fell overboard from the vessel and many containers remaining on board have sustained significant physical damage. Some containers may also have sustained water ingress whilst temperature sensitive cargo will also likely be affected by a loss of power to those containers.
* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and Recovery issues will arise as a result of this incident. We recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
